As a criminal defense lawyer he practices throughout Florida in both State and Federal Courts (Northern District). 

Geoffrey Mason graduated from the University of Florida (Bachelor of Science, 1990, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Psychology) and the University of Florida College of Law (Juris Doctor, 1997). He also engaged in graduate studies and research in Social Psychology at both the University of Illinois and the University of Florida. 

Attorney Mason is a former Associate Professor and Coach for the University of Florida Levin College of Law Trial Team.  He is a former President of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for the Eighth Judicial Circuit chapter.  He is an active member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Lawyers Guild, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the American Bar Association, the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, the American Civil Liberties Union, the Florida Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association Criminal Law Section, and the James C. Adkins Jr. American Inn of Court.
